Proud to announce that our son Percy has been selected to represent NZ at the Pacific Games held in Honiara, Solomon Islands!
This page has been set up to assist with the costs of getting our son to the Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands in November 2023.
Blockhouse Bay, Auckland
Percy has been active in athletics since the age of seven. He holds numerous Club, Auckland, Intermediate, and Secondary records throughout the years. Breaking two World Youth Discus Records stands out as his greatest achievements to date.
Percy is a founding member of Western Elite Throws Academy Athletics Club and is coached by his proud dad John.
Percy is currently -
• NZ U20 Mens Discus Champion/National Title
• NZ Senior Mens Discus Secondary School Champion/National Title
• Auckland Athletics U20 Mens Discus Champion
• Ranked #1 in NZ U20 Mens Discus
• Ranked #1 in Auckland U20 Mens Discus
Percy is also part of the Athletics NZ Performance Development Squad 2023/24.
He is currently attending AUT and is studying for a Bachelor in Business and between his school studies and his unbelievably heavy training schedule it is very difficult to fit in a part time job.
The opportunity to represent NZ is an honor and will be expected to be on the podium to claim a medal at least.

I am the very proud mum of Percy and I am his greatest fan. We invite you to be involved in supporting Percy in his very first steps in competing Internationally and to be involved in sharing his journey to reach the top.
Use of funds
The funds will be used to cover the cost of the Pacific Games trip, which includes travel, accommodation, food and uniform. Percy needs support as the trip is solely self funded. Your support, big or small, would be greatly appreciated.
