NZ Farmers In Need- Let's Not Make Them Wait Any Longer

Right now we have a waitlist for rural NZ community members who are in need of support today.

In 2021, the Rural Change Fund was created to provide better access to private psychologists for New Zealand Rural Communities. This was motivated by the devastatingly long 8-week waiting list to see a psychologist or counsellor in the current public health system.

The Rural Change Fund provides 3x private counselling sessions per farmer with the aim of reducing the waiting time. This fund is normally easily accessible to anyone employed, managing or owning a farming operation in NZ. With your help, we can allow better access to quality support now - instead of making people wait in their time of need.

With your help we can make it accessible for farmers to obtain personal and profound growth through the guidance of mental health professionals; psychologists and counsellors. A confidential, safe and understanding ear to talk to. Rural Change Fund sessions range from $150-$250 and each farmer has access to 3 sessions.

All fundraising efforts and donations go towards the Rural Change Fund.
