Help me pay for an expensive concrete wall & replace some lost earnings

I'd spent a huge amount of time and money building a new racecar, day one at the track and it all went wrong.

Waikato

For years I'd had a plan to build a special little racecar, something fairly unique & in theory a whole lot of fun.

After a lot of planing and thinking a plan was hatched and the build started, I was lucky enough to gain some awesome sponsors, a feature in a magazine, the promise of the car being on display at a huge event....

Sadly with the car around 90% complete while testing for the first time it all went horribly wrong, the car ended up hitting a wall at huge speed backwards destroying the car & leaving me in hospital for a few days after with concussion, broken ribs, a pneumothorax & some bruising.

Very fortunately not a lot else other than the HUGE blow emotionally.

This is life and not so bad some will say,

We have a baby daughter due on the 25th of January and as of today 16/01 I've still not up to full speed & have wont be for a while yet :(

Use of funds

Some awesome people have expressed they wish to help out financially & normally I'd politely decline, this time round things are a bit different.

Although we should be fine to feed ourselves etc we really can't afford to replace what was lost on the car.

The car was an important tool for my business to show my skills & advertise what I can do for customers (and for sure enjoy it at the same time!!)

I intend to rebuild the car much the same as what it was, pay for the hugely expensive wall.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
