i want my mum to be pampered on her 80th birthday

I started this 'Give A Little Page' to fund a

queen for a day for my mum June Chandler.

My mum never had much growing up and she sacrificed a lot to bring up us three girls on her own.

My mum is currently in Palmerston North Hospital. She's being in and out over the last couple of years.

She suffers from chronic kidney disease, severe heart failure, arthritis, and diabetes.We have just found out she might have blood cancer.

Because of all her medical conditions and her age shes struggles day in and day out.

We have spoken to her doctors this week and between us and the doctors we have decided it would be too painful and the treatments too invasive and might not prolong her life anyway.

We thought we were going to loose mum this week due to a nasty chest infection and she became very delirious.It was so scary to see mum that way.

We are hoping mum will be with us to celebrate her 80th birthday on dec 31st.

Me and my sisters Lesley and Julie and my niece Kahla want mum to have a pamper day, where she gets her hair styled and dyed.Have a facial, manicure,pedicure, even a full body massage, and after that have a professional photographer take some photos

We also would like to book a limousine to pick up mum at her door and transport her to a real nice restaurant, and even buy mum a lovely outfit to wear.

Mum has had a very simple life. She's never travelled anywhere. She just couldn't afford it bringing up three girls on her own.

I know that if mum knew what I was doing she wouldn't like it because she's a very private and proud woman, but she deserves to be spoiled once in her life.

I have never asked for anything from anyone before but I need to do this for mum before she dies. I want her to remember this for what ever time she has left.

I promise I will one day pay it forward when I can.
