Help me raise funds to represent New Zealand at 2026 Commonwealth Championships to be held in India

Auckland

I am Payas Jajal and I am 18 years old.

I am in my first year at Auckland University, studying for a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

I am selected to represent New Zealand for 2026 Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships to be held in India from 27th July to 2nd of August 2026.

I am launching this page to support me with the expenses which will be over and above the contribution by TTNZ (Table Tennis NZ). This includes travel, insurance, accommodation, daily subsistence and other event related expenses.

Besides, in preparation for this, I will be putting in extra hours of training and will need to pay for extra coaching. I will also need to replenish my equipment to make it match fit at an international level.

My goal is to raise 11K.

I am seeking your support please, big or small, to assist me raise my own funds to fulfil my dream, for which I have worked very hard and dedicated enormous amount of time and effort in training. Like so many athletes in New Zealand, I wish to raise this money on my own!

I will be eternally grateful for your kind and generous donations and inspirational and supportive messages and best wishes along the way.

ITTF Oceania Youth Championships  10 July 2026

I am delighted to make another announcement. I am also selected to represent New Zealand at the 2026 ITTF Oceania Youth Championships in Ballarat, Australia.

Your generosity will assist me twofold now. One for the Commonwealth Championships and other for the Oceania Youth Championships.

It does however mean that I will be exceeding my budget of 11k. So, your continued support and canvassing for my cause will be very helpful.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
