We are an intermediate school in Wellington East, New Zealand. This year our aim is to raise $20 000

Wellington

Evans Bay Intermediate School is an intermediate school in Wellington, New Zealand. We have 435 students. This year our main aim with fundraising is to build a Bike Pump Track and create shading spaces for our students. Currently we do not have enough outdoor opportunities for our students. Our students love the bike track we have built in 2018. However, they now need a more challenging track. The current bike track has been used by many people from the community during weekends and holidays. We anticipate that the pump track will just be as popular with the wider community.

Our students also desperately need shading when they are relaxing during morning tea or lunch time or when they are doing activities outside the classroom. We are planning to put shading over the newly installed basketball court.

On our premises we have Kimi Ora School. It is a special needs school that enroll students from the Wellington region. Kimi Ora School caters for a diverse range of students aged from five to twenty one years of age with high and very high complex special needs. These students will also be able to benefit from this.

One of the fundraising activities we will do this year is the EBIS FUN RUN. Our aim is for each student to raise about $50. Then we will have a very exciting day competing in the FUN RUN on Friday 24 May 2019.

On behalf of the EBIS students we want to thank everybody who is donating to our page.
