Raising funds for a hot air balloon

Fire Up Levin is forming a hot air balloon club in the town of Levin to educate and promote the sport of hot air ballooning. Fire Up Levin is a not for profit club run by volunteers who share the same passion for hot air ballooning and wanting to see the sport grow.

Hot air ballooning in New Zealand is one of the hardest forms of aviation in New Zealand to get involved in because of the small amount of pilots in New Zealand.

We are fundraising to purchase a second hand hot air balloon which we could use to promote the sport of ballooning and educate kids at local schools. We would take the balloon to events and fundraisers to raise money for the festival. Our target to raise the required funds to secure the hot air balloon is $15,000 NZD. Every donation puts us a step closer to form our club and bring ballooning back to the community.

For everyone who donates $100 or more we will add your name or family name to a sign which will be displayed on the side of the basket.
