Raising funds for my Mum’s medical expenses

Hi everyone. My Mama has been rushed to the hospital 3 days ago due to a cardiogenic shock( heart attack) and found out also to have pneumonia. She was taken by an ambulance since she cannot breathe properly anymore. I’m asking for your prayers for her and for all of us in the family.

The doctor said, she needs to undergo Angiogram to see how bad the blockage to her heart is. After that, either she’ll undergo Angioplasty or Bypass surgery. My mama doesn’t want to go through with that anymore due to fear and she said she’s already old and mainly because we can’t afford it also. But for me, I am just scared.

The cost of hospitalisation in the Philippines is adding to our stresses right now since they don’t have any insurance at all. Even her Philhealth is under my sister’s but since she also has her family under her, my Mama only has 10 days coverage in it and after that we will have to pay everything in full. ICU room alone costs 30k/night and we don’t know when she can come out of it since she’s in a very unstable condition.

I haven’t seen my Mama since 2018 as we haven’t got the chance to go home due to many circumstances. My siblings and I are doing the best that we can to make her fight and be alive and well. I still want to see my Mama alive!
