Hi I am Jed Atkinson. I am 15 and going on a student exchange in August to Sweden for 5 months.
Your donation will massively benefit me by helping me go on this Exchange.:
It will be an amazing life experience that won't just be when I am there but it will also benefit me later in life.
It will help me grow socially, I will be thrown in unfamiliar territory with people that speak another language and will need to get on with making friends and learning.
I haven't done any overseas travel so this will be a great way to start and learn not only more about Sweden but also how New Zealand differs from other cultures. I am also looking forward to being an ambassador for New Zealand while in Sweden.
Money wise I am currently looking for every opportunity to earn money in fundraising (selling lollies and chocolate) and I have also recently got a casual part job after a lot of searching and determination but this is still only getting me training wage. (Because I'm still 15 a lot of businesses only take on 16 years and older)
I have been gaining money every way I can and am very much looking forward to this amazing experience. Thank you for your time

Use of funds
Help pay for my student exchange fee from STS of 12,500 + other costs associated to getting their. If I was to exceed the price of the fees I would give the reaming amount to the Rangiora scout group.
