Friends and family of the Whangamata Surf Lifesaving Club, can you help by donating to the revitalising and the upgrade of our aging clubrooms.
In the summer 2023/2024, 148 individuals rescued and assisted over 86 people to safety and prevented numerous others from seriously injuring themselves on our beach. This wouldn't have been possible without our club facilities, which also act as a community hub.
I'm not a runner by nature, so this challenge is something that will really push me out of my comfort zone, which is something I have experienced in the fourteen years I have been part of the club. It is an atmosphere that encourages growth and people to become their best. I'll hold myself accountable by posting my progress, and the runs I do!

I'm a Surf Lifeguard and joined the Club as a nipper when I was 5 yrs old. Representing the Club, I competed in Surf Sports and was also a Junior Surf Coach.
Use of funds
All money goes to upgrading & revitalising the Whangamata Surf Lifesaving Club so it's fit for purpose & the future. It is underway and with your help to be completed by Easter 2025!

family joined me this morning, so super stoked to be all done, got treated to a celebratory brunch after! thank you to everyone who’s supported, you guys all rock, and so exciting to go into the new year with the new surfclub underway, merry christmas!
