Raising funds to support River-Lee Rose Pitman and her family.

Hi, my name is River-Lee. I was born on the 17th of August 2017. I was born with 3 holes in my heart and eventration of the diaphragm. This means I have trouble breathing and my heart has to work really hard. I was booked in for surgery when I was 1 month old but the doctors did some tests and found out I have Trisomy 18. That’s when plans changed for me. The doctors said it was too risky to operate and my future outcome uncertain so I was denied surgery. Trisomy 18 means I have an extra chromosome. It also means that my life expectancy is unknown but usually short. Now the doctor’s plan for me is to keep me comfortable so that I can enjoy time with my family for as long as I can.

My Mummy and Daddy ( Jen Flavell and Jamieson Pitman) care for me 24 hours a day with help from nurses in the hospital. They are enjoying the time they have with me for as long as they can but they are tired and worry about finances. Not being able to work as they used to means money is tight. They have the added worry of expenses to come. If you are able to donate to help support them in this really tough time for them it would be greatly appreciated. Prayers would also be appreciated as they are praying for a miracle because only God can fix this.
