  • Rest home stay

    Nana is now out of hospital. Yay!

    And staying in a rest home for the most part of her recovery. Her leg is still supported by an external fixator (a plate on the outside of the leg with 6 pins through the leg holding the bones in place until the leg can bare the body weight).

    The money is going to be spent towards a new comfortable lounge chair for her that supports her without causing too much discomfort for when she returns home. Her one at the moment has seen better days and some.

    Here is one of the 2 fractures to Nanas leg. This is right under the knee through the shin. The other fracture is the bone behind the shin up a little more behind the knee.
