Help community hero Daryl, aka rat man, and his whanau fight the late stages of cancer

With great sadness we let you know Daryl passed away monday 19th September surrounded by family. It was a lot sooner than expected, but thankfully Daryl managed to make his wedding with Carol Saturday 10th, making official a 20+ year long love filled partnership just before he passed.
Thank you so much to those who donated, it was so deeply appreciated Daryl and his family. The donations will now go toward covering funeral costs.

In the last 10 years community hero Daryl, aka Rat Man, has turned his life around from a long battle with addiction to helping fight Strathmore Park's rat infestation
Recently Daryl has been fighting bowel cancer. With most treatments no longer working he has been given 6 months to a year to live. Daryl will keep fighting of course, but like anyone he and his whanau could use some support.
Daryl and Carol are planning on getting married, this page is set up to help them have a wonderful wedding as well as support their whanau with ongoing treatment and living costs.
