New riding arena for West Coast RDA

We badly need a safe all weather riding area for our RDA sessions. We have raised 10,000 towards building a new arena but the total cost is

Our kids are currently riding on a gravel car park. This turns into a lake when it rains and is hard and stony. We are planning to build a 40x50m, well drained, fenced, riding area with a good surface. This will also be available to other members of the community when not in use by West Coast RDA.

About us

We develop abilities and enrich lives through our horse riding programme. The horse is a large, non-judgemental animal which is incredibly intuitive, patient and gentle with the less able. Riding is a huge confidence boost for disabled people. Horses become their legs or eyes and allow them to go places impossible in a wheelchair.
