A way to support Rebekah's through her Recovery!

Eltham, Taranaki

Our beautiful Rebekah has recently been diagnosed with Bone Cancer in her hip (Osteosarcoma). Osteosarcoma is a type of bone cancer that begins in the cells that form bones.

Unfortunately this has already been a long and painful journey for Rebekah, it has taken a considerable amount of time to finally get a correct diagnosis. This has put a lot of extra stress and strain on her, Jacob and the rest of their support.

The plan moving forward is Rebekah will have to undergo Chemo in Palmerston North followed by extensive surgery in Auckland to remove the tumour and rebuild her hip, followed by another round of Chemo.

As you can imagine with Rebekah being off work with no pay and Jacob having to take considerable amount of time off to help and support Rebekah the financial stress is only adding to the heavy load they are carrying.
