Hello my Name is Eldon Bennett I am a light automotive mechanic in New Zealand and have a great passion for cars.

I own a 1975 Hillman Avenger ex dirt track car now v6 powered skid car, my goal is to win a burnout competition, then race it in dirt track.

At it's last event in Whangarei the car's suspension broke and ruptured the fuel lines, the remaining 13ltrs of fuel burnt under the vehicle, luckily both the passenger and myself got out quickly and unharmed.

My plan is to repair the damage and get the car safer, more reliable and more powerful for the next event.

Use of funds

The money will be spent on repairing the car while improving it, if i can make the target an ls1 engine will be considered, if there is anything after that it will be for future events/upgrades for the Wafflestomp
