Red Scorpion Dojo trip to Japan
A group of school age karate students are planning a trip to Japan in April 2019 to train at the birth place of karate and compete.

Red Scorpion Dojo is a Shotokan Karate Club (dojo) located in Warkworth. We teach all ages from 4 years old up to 54 years old, male and females, and have a very close-knit dojo.
As part of our training and education package, we are planning a trip to Japan, the home of Shotokan Karate, to learn more on the history of Karate, visiting the birthplace of Karate and the Karate Museum. We will also be training with a number of different dojo throughout Japan, including at Karate Headquarters Japan Karate Association, Tokyo. We will also be competing in a National Competition.
Use of funds
The funds will be used to help cover flights, accomadtion and training and competition fees while in Japan.
