Remembering the Late Ian Flanagan and Giving Back to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
Queenstown, Otago
On 28th Nov 2022, the golden heart, Ian Flanagan suddenly passed at 30 years old in Queenstown. This effected many people, not only close whanau and friends, but across the construction industry.
To honour Ian the best way possible we are hosting a Charity Golf Day in Queenstown in his honour. The most important thing we are doing alongside this, is that we will be raising funds to give back to a charity in Ireland called the ‘Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust’.
This trust paid for all funeral and repatriation costs for Ian to get him home to Ireland where he treasured and loved. Just like having Ian in our lives, we were truely blessed to have had this type of charity looking after us. This Trust relieved significant financial stress and we want to help this trust do this again! Unfortunately for this amazing trust, it is a trust that you only learn of in tragic events like when we lost Ian. The trusts purpose is to provide financial assistance to bereaved families to repatriate the body (or bodies). Conditions being that of a loved one(s) who died outside Ireland to be offered in circumstances of sudden or tragic death.

The goal of this 'Give a Little' is to run alongside the Golf Day so we are able to give back to such an important charity and those who are unable to attend but want to support us in raising funds so many more families such as Ian’s during our sad loss.
Thank you from all of us.
The trust provided full financial assistance to get my late husband back to Ireland to rest with rest close family and friends.
All funds will be donated back to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
