Support the Hobsonville RSA.

So nearly 60 years the Hobsonville RSA has been an iconic environment for many service and local families to grow and share ex service and returned service revel in the camaraderie of the place. Over many years since being pushed to get lending for club improvement and council directed land purchase the RSA has had a mortgage. This has been one critical part of the slow decline of the RSA as it has stymied the ability to grow. Given we are a commercial entity unlike your home loan, we have been tied to ten year mortgages and other loans so the payments are pretty tough.

Donations to the RSA is historically done on Poppy Week and that money is ringfence for welfare only. It is a seperate fund and has no place being utilised for operating the facility.

I have been boosted and feel hugely supported by the membership and the ex service fraternity and I am sending this out to them and the members of the community that just cant make it in to support regularly. We are an employer, we are a hospitality venue and a focal office for support to many members.

All donations will be gratefully received and will assist us in this particularly stretched financial period while we are working through our options.
