The new Ancillary building, behind St Faith's Church, is nearing completion. Yay!!

Next we will be working on the landscaping to set off our new building and we are looking for donations of bulbs or money (to buy bulbs).

If you have any of the following bulbs and are willing to donate some to us can you drop them into the Vege Co-Op on a Tuesday.:

    Snowdrop

    White nerine

White and Blue hyacinths (not grape hyacinthins)

    White daffodils

    Scilla etc.

If you don't have any bulbs to donate but would still like to contribute a cash donation, to enable us to buy the bulbs, that would be really appreciated.

Now we will excitedly await the opening of the new Ancillary building later this year.

Contractors have moved out, the grounds levelled and grass replanted. Now the finishing touches are happening inside. Thanks to the volunteers from the Menz shed and those who come on a Wednesday afternoon to help with stripping, revarnishing, cleaning and polishing the furniture, pews and other fixtures the church is getting new life breathed into her. And she is looking amazing.

We will be having an opening to which the Public will be invited on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May. More details to come.

Thank you to everyone who has given of their time and resources to help make sure the St Faith's Church will be around to serve the community for many years to come.

Now we will focus on making great use of this fantastic facility for the good of the community. And remember the lounge is still open Mon - Fri from 10 - 2 so pop in for a drink and a chat if your passing.

It was really exciting to see the lovely stained glass windows going in to the church. The workman are due to finish stage 1 mid April.

We now have a revised shortfall of $90,000 to complete the repairs and planned second stage of the project, the annex building.

Steve will be running a fundraising marathon this Saturday starting at St Faith's at 8am. He will complete 42 laps around New Brighton so do come along if you can and either join or encourage Steve by sponsoring him. All proceeds will go to the building fund.

If you're not able to make it and would like to make a donation please give through this page.

Roanne Izzard Parker they loaded up the worksite offices and rooms today and they disappeared on the back of a very large truck. One more step towards completion.
