Repair to Martin's double bass

Help pay for repairs to Martin's double bass.

Waikato

Martin's double bass has been a central instrument of the Hamilton music scene for over thirty years, a mainstay of many bands and shows, including the annual Summer Shakespeare.

In the last couple of years various rattles starting happening inside of it, until it was no longer playable.

So the venerable old bass was delivered to Keith MacMillan and he has spent many hours fixing it, by opening the front up and securing the loose bits and fixing the cracks.

However, even with his favourable fee, that has cost $450, far more than Martin can cover with his trickle of income.

Martin does not have an online life, so I offered to run this to help him cover this bill.
