Repair to Martin's double bass

    Thanks to the 22 donors who collectively stumped up $1000 for the repairs and improvements to Martin Fisher's double bass.

    Give the bass some loving the next time you see it in action!

  • Stretch goal - re-hair the bow and get a stand made

    The funds required to fix the bass arrived within two days without me even advertising this.

    So I asked Martin if anything more needs to be done to or for the bass, and he said that its bow needs to be re-haired with new horse hair, and that a stand would be helpful for keeping it safe.

    So I have doubled the funding goal and shortened the time that it will be open, so if you REALLY love this old double bass, you can still help look after it, but be quick!
