Help us to repatriate the body of Ananth Vikranth to his beloved parents
Hamilton, Waikato
An Indian citizen passed away in an accident near Hamilton on 28.02.2024. His body is currently at Waikato Hospital. We urgently need help to transport his remains back to his parents in India once the necessary formalities are completed, as he doesn't have any family here. His grieving parents are eagerly awaiting his return to perform the final rites. We are collaborating with his family, the Indian High Commission, his employer, and friends to facilitate this process.
Ananth Vikranth Sridharan is a 26-year-old young, energetic, ambitious man who came to New Zealand to study 4 years ago. He worked as a microbiology technician at Asure Quality, a company in Auckland. He was a high-spirited, charismatic, humble young man with a huge wonder for learning. He always had a smile on his face even if he was having a hard time, but despite that, he always puts others before himself and helps cheer people up. His achievement that he was very proud of was his thesis, but most of all, he was most proud of his superpower: thirst for knowledge. He has made many great connections with people around him, and we will always remember him for his kindness and warm smile.
Born in Bellary, Karnataka and raised in Chennai. his father is retired from Railways, and his mother is a homemaker, both residing in Triplicane, Chennai, India. His brother is studying in the UK.
TSW is a nonprofit organization founded in 1989 to promote Tamil language, culture and literature.
ACC will be covering part of the costs. We will pay the remaining repatriate expenses to repatriate his body back to his parents in India and any money left over will be sent to India to his parents to cover the last rites in India.
