Support Dinesh Ravi’s 150 km walk to raise awareness about obesity, diabetes, heart health, and mental well-being in New Zealand
Hamilton, Waikato
On February 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, 2025, Dinesh Ravi will take on a 150 km challenge, walking from Hamilton to Auckland over three days. This incredible journey aims to raise awareness about obesity, diabetes, heart health, and their impact on mental well-being—issues affecting countless New Zealanders.
Through this initiative, we want to inspire healthier lifestyles, foster community connections, and support programs that address these pressing health challenges.
Your donations will support this project by covering event logistics, marketing, hydration stations, T-shirt production as well as shoes, personal gear required for training, the 3-day walk, and travel expenses for Dinesh (We will try to keep the Dinesh expenses max up to the $1000) The rest will be divided equally amongst the Mental Health Foundation, Heart Foundation and Diabetes New Zealand.
Every step Dinesh takes brings us closer to a healthier, more connected community. Join us in making a difference by donating today, spreading the word, or walking alongside him for a segment of the journey.
Let’s walk together toward better health for all!
Dinesh is a member of Tamil Society Waikato.

Funds will cover event logistics, marketing, hydration stations, T-shirt production as well as shoes, personal gear required for training, the 3-day walk, and travel expenses for Dinesh. Funds raised on-top of this will be split equally between the Mental Health Foundation, Heart Foundation and Diabetes New Zealand.
