Replace MacBook Pro stolen on my birthday
My flat was burgled on my 44th birthday, my new MacBook Pro 13 and an external hard drive were stolen; sadly, the items were uninsured.

After a really nice monthly Book Club session on Tues 24/07/2018 - where I got to enjoy a lovely home-baked key lime birthday cake/pie for my 44th birthday, I arrived home to discover that my flat had been burgled and my new MacBook Pro 13 and external hard drive were amongst the items stolen. Wow, what a crappy birthday! :-(
Because my funds don't stretch to home & contents insurance, the items weren't insured. :-/ (Yes, I do feel stupid for not having coverage, and yes, I'm going to have to find a way to stretch my wages in future to get some insurance).
In lieu of a birthday present, this funding page is for people to donate however much or little they want towards replacing the stolen items. ALL CONTRIBUTIONS GRATEFULLY RECEIVED! Help make birthdays non-traumatic for me again! :-)
