Replacing Tamati's destroyed headstone

On 2nd September 2016, we lost my brother Tamati unexpectedly. This has left a huge hole in our hearts.

In April 2018 our whanau had an unveiling for my brother in Taihape. Only a month later we received a phone call to say that his headstone has been destroyed.

If losing Tamati wasnt bad enough, our hearts were shredded apart even more when we received the news of his headstone. The only place we could go and visit now being a place of constant reminders of hurt.

We are wanting to replace Tamati's headstone to something he deserves and to make it somewhere that we can go and remember him and not somewhere that's a reminder a selfless act where it turns in anger and hurt.
