My father in law is visiting my husband and his sister here in New Zealand. My in laws are here to help my sister in law in Oamaru with her new born baby.

Last week he became unwell and was transferred to Dunedin hospital on Saturday, 26 March 2023.

on Friday he was on the mend, doctors were happy with his progress and transferred to Oamaru hospital.

Early Saturday morning I had a call from the hospital saying he was having difficulty breathing, he stabilised but later on that morning he became really ill and was resuscitated but his heart gave up. He is now resting in peace.

Because he is here on a visit visa, we have hospital bills to pay, we also have to bring his body back home to the Philippines.

We are kindly asking for donations to help bring my father in law back home.

We are trying to raise around $15,000 to cover the cost to fly him back.
