Rest in peace Janice Nicholson

Janice our beloved friend has passed away after battling with cancer the last couple of years and loosing one of her legs in an accident.

Janice who was an Aucklander didn't have any family left in New Zealand, only her friends. And now we are looking for some support to help her to rest in peace by paying for her memorial services.

These have been difficult times for us, her friends and particularly for, Valeria who took care of her since the accident and through all the difficulties until the very last minute.

Who was Janice?

Janice was an Aucklander who worked in the hospitality industry most of her life, she was a very positive person, always with a smile and good attitude not matter what she was going through, she always had a kind word.

What happened?

Couple of years ago she was walking her best friend's dog (picture) and a truck ran her over. As result she lost one of her legs and not long after this cancer started taking over her body. She started chemotherapy that unfortunately was only debilitating her more and more.

Janice's last memories...

In Feb19 with the little bit of energy that she had, she decided to go with Valeria, her best friend to South America and fulfill her dream of visiting Chile and travel to a spanish speaking country. With Valeria's help she got her passport for the first time

and spent 1 month in South America, making friends and creating memories and stories to share.

After she came back from holiday she came back to chemotherapy treatment but unfortunately after a couple of treatments her body couldn't resitst any more. She died last wednesday 3rd of April 2019.
