Assistance for Susan during her recovery time from major hand surgery, due to injuries caused from a dog attack.
Auckland
On Saturday the 27th of January 2018 Susan Baker was out walking her best friend, her miniture Poodle, Georgie, when a dog attacked Georgie who sadly passed away on her way to the vets.
During this attack Susan was also severely injured and on Sunday the 28th of January is having major surgery on her hand to repair the damage caused by the dog.
Susan Baker has been a member of the Bayview Community for over 40 years. In that time she has been heavily involved with supporting the community through the Kindergarten and Primary, and looking out for anyone in need of a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on or a caring ear.
When Susan returns home from hospital she will require months of rehab on her hand, and will have severe pain and be unable to complete many day to day tasks.
Your support to help her recouperate is very much appreciated.
The funds donated will be distributed to Susan to use as she requires to assist with making day to day life easier during her healing.
On behalf of Susan, we thank you very much for the overwhelming love and support Susan is receiving.
