Rev Wame Tukana is battling prostate cancer, together we can support by donating
Auckland
Rev Wame Tukana has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and is currently on medical treatment in New Zealand. He has seen a General Practioner and completed full blood tests that indicated an elevated Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA). Rev Tukana was referred to Dr Grant Russell (urologist) who provided a further referral for an MRI scan.
In April (2019), Rev Tukana was admitted at Auckland City Hospital (ACH) Emergency Department as a result of difficulty in passing urine and pelvic pain. CT scan results from ACH showed substantial abnormality inside the prostate, plus a lump in the adrenal gland. Dr Michael Rice (urologist at ACH) advised to follow through with the MRI scan to confirm the need for a biopsy or an operation.
He has completed his MRI scan at Auckland Radiology Group (ARG Radiation). He is scheduled to see Dr Ian Mundy (Gilgit Urology, Epsom) for the assessment of the MRI results. The outcome of the assessment will determine further treatments, either scheduling a biopsy or an operation.
Unfortunately, he is ineligible for public funds as he is a non resident, therefore this GiveALittle page will contribute to his treatment. We believe time is against us, therefore any donation will speed up the treatment processes. Any amount will be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support and prayers.
