  • Going forward 😌

      7 September 2020

rex is home now, you may see him in his spot from time to time when he is up to it :)

Rex has decided, due to his other medical conditions chemotherapy is not for him, which was hard but the cancer is terminal, and quality not quantity is important...

But it turns out rex has a special gene which means while his cancer is not curable, there is a medication he can take that will give him a few more months with a better quality of life, so that was some really great news for the family 👪

We would like to extend our thanks for the kind words and gestures from every one of you, Rex has been really touched by you all, after such a hard life it means alot to him to hear how he has positively impacted you all 🥰🥰🥰

the type of cancer rex has is adenocarcinoma

    He is at stage 3b

Today he was allowed to return home while the docters try to make a treatment plan to give him some more time

Drs have estimated with treatment they expect rex to live 6-18 months

  • Terminal diagnosis

      22 August 2020
    Main image

this morning rex was given a terminal cancer diagnosis :(

He has an aggressive form of lung cancer that has already began to spread (cant think the name will have to ask again) and the fluid they have drained has cancer cells in it.

The docters have said his condition is not curable but they may be able to give him some more time with chemotherapy treatment

Not the news we were hoping for
