Richard Taylor survived 12 hours of surgery following a split in the aorta artery in his heart. He is now in recovery. The purpose of this page is to raise some cash to help relieve any financial stress his family will face as a result of this event and his (long) road to recovery. It is an opportunity for his friends and colleagues to show their support, care and concern for him and his family in a practical way.

Friends of Ingrid and Richard Taylor's involvement (page creator)

I, like so many of you, am friends with Richard and Ingrid Taylor. When a unexpected and life changing event happens in a friends life often we want to do something to relieve the trauma for our friends but there is little we can do. This page is just a small way that we can help - at least as he recovers, together we can ease the burden of financial stress for him and his family.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
