The single greatest natural resource is the rainforest so let's do our part to help save it.

Cool Earth is the partner charity to The Adventurists (who organise the Rickshaw Run) and they work alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation. This work is very important to us in helping guarantee a future for us and our children. Cool Earth work alongside people who live in rainforests and want to keep the canopy intact. So instead of fencing off huge reserves, Cool Earth empowers local communities who have been forest custodians for generations.

By developing local sustainable livelihoods, their mission is to end the cycle of deforestation entrenching villages into further poverty. Cool Earth builds livelihoods, creating strong,

self-determining communities - not dependency.

We are a group of friends (Jacky Caddick, Anna Brealey, Rebecca Stichbury, Elizabeth Moore, Liz Thomas and myself) doing the Rickshaw Run in Sri Lanka in October 2019. This is a fundraising event for Cool Earth.

Use of funds

100% of donations will be given to Cool Earth.
