Ride On, Robbo

As many of know, we lost our good friend Rob/Robbo/Robbie on Friday 23 June 2023, after a short battle with stage 4 lung cancer.

In December 2021 we welcomed Rob into our home, to live with us after a horrific ordeal of being kidnapped, beaten, tortured & stripped of all his personal belongings. This torture was inflicted by people whom Rob had considered his friends. These people tortured him for 3 days solid & miraculously he managed to escape the chair he had been tied too & from that moment, Rob never spoke of the event, as he was petrified that "they'd find him & finish him off" As a family & support crew of 'Rob's Boys' we took it upon ourselves to do whatever we could to keep Rob safe.

Fast forward to January 16 2023 - the day I admitted Rob into hospital, where he was given what he described as "his death sentence" - 6 months to live.

The Cancer took over Rob's frail body & he gave up the fight.

Rob had set MANY wishes in place & was of perfect sound mind at the time of his passing.

We were blown away with the turnout at his Farewell, it was a testament to the great man he was.

After a financially difficult period of time supporting Rob in his final months, we are asking for help & support to help cover his Funeral costs ($7,842) LESS the Funeral Grant Subsidy from WINZ & we have been given 30 days to find the remaining $5,842.

This is an extremely difficult position for us to be asking for help, but any small contribution would make a world of difference to us.
