Hi everyone!

My name is Riley Faulkner, and I've been chosen to represent New Zealand at the 2024 UCI World Junior Track Cycling Championships in Luoyang, China this August.

I've been cycling since the age of 13 and have set four New Zealand/Championship records.

This is my first year in the U19 age group at an international level, and at 16, I will be the youngest athlete in the New Zealand team. I am really looking forward to competing in a different country and to form some great friendships with the other riders from around New Zealand, and other parts of the world.

This trip is going to cost me in excess of $10,500, and no matter how much I work in my part-time job, it will not even come close to covering all the costs required.

I’m asking for your support to help me get to China – your donation will not only help cover travel & accommodation, transport of my bike & equipment and food & competition costs but will also help with training camps to Cambridge in the lead up to the Championships.
