To attend the Spirit of Adventure 10 day development voyage there's a hefty fee involved! Half of which I have gained through a scholarship with the Kapiti Rotary Club - however I need to raise the other $1200 so that I can go on the Spirit of Adventure. In saying this, I don't want to just be given the money, I want to be able to work for it by giving back to the community. So, I have decided for every $50 donation I receive, I will do an hours service for a local charity. I'm looking forward to working with organisations among our community. Being a down to earth, hard working and enthusiastic lad. I am much suited to any task. And of course, I am dead keen to help out with whatever I can.

Attending the Spirit of Adventure Development will provide me with an opportunity to grow and develop as a person, so that I can further contribute to society in the future.

Use of funds

$1200 to go on the Spirit of Adventure. For every $50 donated, I'll volunteer for one hours worth of volunteer charity work. Local organisations that I've got associations with I have are the Kapiti Rotary Club, SPCA, HUHA, Volunteer Kapiti and the Green Party beach and river cleans. These are the groups that I'll invest my time in if there isn't any special requests, however if you have got any. Please contact me through my Facebook and I'll make it happen.

Riley helped out at HUHA with the shelter dogs, it was nice to meet him and share his enthusiasm for the great experience he will have on the Spirit of Adventure.
