Ive only known George for the past 5-6 years but even in this short time you realise he is one of the good guys! His positive outlook on life is refreshing and he is not a man to judge anyone. George is 100% positive no matter what life brings to him.
Unfortunately his beautiful wife Rita has terminal cancer.
As you can imagine after having to quit her job due to the illness, along come the financial stresses that relate to this.
The Bridge Tavern is holding the "Rita O'Callaghan Rapana Festival Day" It's sole purpose is to fundraise for the family so that at least some of the financial stress can be minimized during this tough period of their life's.
As anyone can imagine, it's hard writing about this without feeling emotional but as a community, as friends and as brothers and sisters, lets get together to make this massive!
