Please help Roman aka Roah the Greyhound. He has been diagnosed with Spleen cancer and needs lifesaving surgery. This gorgeous boy is much loved by his young human siblings and Mum. Any amount you can spare would go towards his surgery and aftercare.
His mum Georgie Milne has been a key figure in the NZ greyhound community for a number of years and is a founder of greyhound rehoming charity May Hounds.

Update on Roah's Condition 16 July 2021
Sadly there have been further complications discovered with Roah (Roman) and not only does he have spleen cancer but his kidneys are failing and the vets believe there are other issues. The chances of him surviving surgery are 50/50 and then it's unknown due to the other conditions. Georgie has made the difficult decision to manage his illnesses until Roah tells her he's had enough. At this stage he is on a special kidney diet and minor pain relief and the pain relief will increase as necessary. It is the only thing that can be done as there are no treatment. Vet bills currently stand at $1229.30. As a single mum of 3 children it's a hard financial road and we would like the donations to go to his continued care and send off. Excess funds will be on donated to the 'Shoe Box Appeal' for Hounds in foster at Christmas.
