Robotic Connor

Hi famz,

We are raising funds for Connor, the eldest of 7 kids, to purchase his first Robotics Kit to learn the basics of robotics. We had looked into robotic/coding classes and they are well above what we can afford. One place costs $160/month. Connor is really keen to learn Robotics and this was the most affordable option to get him started.

If you know Connor you will know that he’s a hands on learner. Always has been. He loves Lego, it was the first thing he ever did that he could fully focus on without any additional help. He also loves making with paddle pop sticks, hot glue, cardboard and even wood. He’s made bow and arrows, a paddle pop piano, book stands and plenty more.

When he was younger we thought he had ADHD. When he was clinically assessed for ADHD he was in the mid-lower ranges for all outcomes except his visual spatial outcome which was in the 96th percentile. The clinician linked it with Connor being significantly better with hands-on-learning than all his other abilities. This is why we want to fundraise for him to have this opportunity, because he just seems made for it 😊 ❤️
