Rocky's Celebration Of Life!
Please help Rocky and his owners get through this emotional and financially difficult time as he strives to get better.

It has been a rough run lately for the big fella Rocky and his two unconditionally loving owners! He has recently just had surgery to remove his spleen due to a tumor. This was on top of all his other ailments including been diagnosed with Heart Failure last August. He is now back at home on the mend doing well but in need of constant and attentive care. Anyone who knows Rocky knows he is a big softy who loves to hang with everyone, particularly his soft toys! Bringing so much joy to everyone around him.
He has been apart of the Wolley family for a good 12 years now and part of the Camilleri family for around 10 years. He has brought them so much love and happiness particularly so to Kirsten through some tough times in her life. Any of you who have a pet and a dog in particular know just how much emotional and financial investment goes into them and that they really are an equal member of the family. In this case their son!
These past few months have been very hard financially for Adam and Kirsten as they have had to take a lot of time off work and forked out around $7500 for Rocky's latest operation on top of the very high hundreds they have outgoing each week between them for his treatments including;
Follow up specialist appointments
Regular ECG's and heart ultrasounds
Heart Medication & Diuretics
Special food
Joint Supplements & Fish Oil
I have created this page in the hopes of receiving some money in order to relieve some of the financial stress placed on them each week so that they can best enjoy the time they have left with Rocky. It would be much appreciated it you could assist whatever you can afford/wish to and leave a nice message of support for them all so that they know we care and that we understand what they are going through.
Adam and Kirsten are the type of people who would feel uncomfortable taking from anybody but whether or not they like to admit it they could definitely use the help and support as there is no price or length they wouldn't go to for Rocky! So it would be cool if we could rally together for them!

Rocky update 2 March 2016
Hi everyone. Rocky is still keeping his parents on their toes, and is still fighting to spend lots more time with them. The vets have been very impressed with how well he is handling the hurdles thrown at him and he still has so much spirit and will to live. Rocky recently celebrated his 12th birthday which was a huge milestone for him (See the pics added to the gallery) Adam, Kirsten and Rocky have also just had a very special photoshoot done with Kim at Tall Tails Pet Portraits. They are currently saving to be able to purchase these photos and they will be treasured forever. (Have added a sneakpeak to the gallery)
Rocky recovered well from his splenic surgery in January, however unfortunately in February Rocky’s heart disease progressed to develop an abnormal rhythm known as Atrial Fibrillation. Rocky’s owners and the vet team are now working hard to try and stabilize the heart again. This has involved further specialist cardiologist appointments and more expensive tests and monitoring, as well as introducing 2 new medications and herbal supplements.
The contributions that have come in through this page so far have been amazing and such a big help to Adam and Kirsten to allow them to keep up the ongoing treatment for Rocky as they work through paying off all the vet bills and mountain of debt that is accumulating. We have managed to raise almost a ¼ of the medical expenses so far – with this page closing in a weeks time I really want to make one last push. Can we get to 5k?
