Cushion delivered (well nearly!)

Hi everyone
Thank you again so much for your generosity. I just wanted to let you know that yesterday I was able to give the Roho cushion to Annie’s aunty. Unfortunately at this time I’m not able to make it all the way to Annie’s village myself to deliver it to her like I would have hoped. However I took the opportunity to connect with her aunty in the town I’m currently staying in. I was able to show her how the cushion works and how to take care of it. Annie’s mum is planning to come from her village and collect it this week.
I spoke with Annie on the phone at the weekend and again today. She is excited to get the cushion, she still hasn’t been out in her wheelchair due to her pressure sore. This will make such a big difference to her daily life - giving her the ability to be out and about and interacting with the wider community again.
Thank you all again so much for your generosity and for showing Annie that despite her circumstances and the remoteness of where she lives that she matters and has value.
