Help Roland move from his now-sold house before the 9th of April to repsite housing.
Mount Pleasant, Christchurch
Roland Matthews is moving on. Moving on, to where? Nobody knows, but hope springs…
Unfortunately, I have had to sell my family home on sunny Mount Pleasant. By the weekend of the eighth and ninth of April, I will have cleaned out the last boxes of my Stuff to local storage. Yes, it is stressful having to leave a beautiful home, purpose-built for my disability, into the unknown.
Due to a serious shortage of housing in Christchurch, and my need for an accessible house, which will accommodate me and my power chair. After a year of searching, my only option is a respite house. I have been assured by my wonderful supporters at Comcare and Enable, that something will be available. What, and where is the question that will be answered nearer the day?
In the interim, My three requests after you have read my campaign are, 1) can you please Give a Little to help me move, 2) spread the word, and 3) to all the people that saved my life in my campaign for HSTC in Moscow (https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/rolandsms), you are thanked in perpetuity in my book HSCT for MS. It is available in Paperback and for Kindle. Search on Amazon HSCT for MS, take a look and share. You may save other people.
Thanks, hugs and kisses
Roland.
I am seeking assistance in covering the significant cost of relocation, and there are many, including storage, movers, packing, and exit cleaning.
