Roni Hunt 57 years young. Please help support our much loved Whanau member

Just before Christmas last year 2022, Roni was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM). The most aggressive cancer to the brain.

Very recently while Roni was at work, he suffered a severe, almost fatal seizure and was rushed to Dunedin Hospital and put into an induced coma. Unfortunately, the tumour has grown, he is terminal and doesn’t have a lot of time.

For those of you who are blessed by knowing Roni throughout his extraordinary & beautiful life thus far, whether or not you be Whanau (Family), friends or even a stranger on the street, you would know that he is kind, loving and the most giving person who has never asked or expected anything in life except a laugh and a good time. His mana is strong!

For some ungodly reason, Roni was only eligible for a $68.00nz pw benefit. He has never relied on income support, he has worked extremely hard his whole life!

Roni continued to work despite his serious illness to be able to afford treatment for his condition and be there for his beautiful Partner Raylene and Whanau who mean the absolute world to him.

Roni officially resigned from his place of work on 05.12.2023.

He is a huge part of our Whanau and community and we kindly ask that you give just a little.
