Trentham School is holding a Mathathon! This is a major fundraiser, with funds going towards replacing very old iPads in our junior classes.
Auckland
Trentham School's Home & School is running our biannual Mathathon which supports the school’s focus on Numeracy. The children will be given a list of basic facts to learn appropriate to their maths level. They will have 3 weeks to learn these facts and get sponsorship before they take part in our Mathathon event on Tuesday 22 June 2021.
This year we are again using the Givealittle website as a way to collect funds. This allows for cashless payments, reduces administration, and also means that friends and whānau from afar can take part and sponsor our tamariki. Sponsorship will be in the form of a donation. Find your child’s class page and when you make a donation start typing in the Student Name box to assign your donation to a child. This is so we can keep a track of how much each child raises.
Last year we raised $6,600 and purchased 30 iPads. We'd like to beat this and raise $10,000 this year!
An inclusive, caring and nurturing learning community which focuses on improving student outcomes.
