Trentham School is holding a Spellathon! This is a major fundraiser, with funds going towards replacing dated iPads in junior classes.
Wellington
Trentham School's Home & School is running our biannual Spellathon which supports the school’s focus on Literacy. The children will be given a list of words to learn appropriate to their spelling level. The children have 4 weeks to learn their words and get sponsorship before they take part in our Spellathon event on Tuesday 3 November 2020
For those of you who have not participated in an ‘athon’ before, the children ask sponsors to give money for each word that is spelt correctly. Some people prefer to give a donation regardless of how the child scores in the test.
We are fundraising to replace dated iPads in our junior classrooms.
Please support this fundraiser by getting sponsorship from family, friends and workmates. This event is our biggest fundraiser each year, so your support is really appreciated. Thank you for helping to make our Spellathon a success.
An inclusive, caring and nurturing learning community which focuses on improving student outcomes.
Our Whakatauki:
Kia puawai enei rakau ‘Kia Kaha’ mo ake tonu atu
May these trees bloom with strength forever.
All funds raised will go towards replacing the dated iPads in our 10 junior classrooms so they are more efficient for our children to use in their learning programmes.
