Gold-winning problem-solvers want to compete against the rest of the world in Australia.
Auckland
One of our Tournament of Minds teams won gold in their social sciences division at the Wellington National Competition. This group of talented 10 and 11 year old problem-solvers competed against teams from across the country in a critical thinking and creative performing tournament. Their performance was especially remarkable considering they scored higher than the older Intermediate students they were judged against. This team desperately wants to showcase their talents on the world stage. They have been invited to attend the International Tournament of Minds competition in Hobart, Tasmania despite the fact they only have four weeks to fundraise. They have been working together as a team since April and are determined that all members of their team can make the trip to Hobart. This enthusiastic group of future leaders would love some help to pay for their flights to Hobart and the team costs involved with this trip.

Flights from Auckland to Hobart cost $1000 each
Accommodation, food and transfer costs $700
Increased goal to allow for all students to attend 24 September 2019
The students are organising some fundrasing of their own but the costs of flights to Hobart are expensive.
