Rose needs an adjustable bed to help her have some quality of life again.

Rose had a workplace accident 8 years ago which resulted in chronic damage to some discs in her lower back. She was initially covered by ACC. Due to ACC constantly reducing payments, she had no,choice but to return to work to survive. After some years of working it got to the stage where the pain became to intense she had to resign. Rose had an unsuccessful operation on her back which in turn sped up the damage. She now has 13 discs with varying issues and irreversible nerve damage. ACC have declined any help stating it is degenerative. She has fought them but to no avail. Every spare bit of money has been consumed by medical bills, ramps, wheelchair and a different car to put a wheelchair in, all funded by them personally. They are on one low income and are struggling. Rose is in horrific pain 24/7 and some days she can't even get out of bed. Most of the time she is now in her bedroom lying down as it's the most comfortable place for her. Even when friends and family are around she is restricted most of the time to lying on her bed. She can no longer go out and enjoy herself, or do anything around her home. She try's to remain happy and smiling but you can see the pain in her eyes. By getting an single adjustable bed which would fit in their lounge, she would then Be able to stay out there during the day and enjoy being with people.
