Rotaract's awareness campaign and fundraiser around the world for Rotary's Give Every Child A Future vaccination project.
Auckland
For the third and final year we are excited to announce Rotaract Oceania is back to raise awareness and funds for Rotary's Give Every Child A Future project, right here in the South Pacific. To celebrate Rotary’s 100th birthday in the Oceania region, GECAF is committed to vaccinating 100,000 children and adolescent girls in 9 countries across the Pacific (Nauru, Tuvalu, Samoa, Vanuatu, Tonga, Niue, Cook Islands, Kiribati and Tokelau) to protect against Rotavirus, HPV, and Pneumococcal disease. This project is happening in partnership with UNICEF.
We are here because we believe that united we can not only raise money but awareness about the impact Rotary is having on the lives of the Children of the Pacific. You are able to be a part of this story no matter where you are in the world. Get up on the 5th of November and join us as we take over Rotaract and Rotary social media and talk about #MOVEFORGECAF. Every dollar donated is helping Rotaract be a part of saving the lives of children in the Pacific.
Rotary Oceania Zone Operations, the company is established to support Rotary Districts and Rotary Clubs with Rotary Projects in the promotion and development of Rotary in New Zealand.
Pneumococcal pneumonia, meningitis and diarrhea are the leading causes of death in children under 5. A donation of just AU$45 fully vaccinates 1 child from all 3 diseases and helps to purchase necessary supplies and provide education.
