Help a single mama get her boy to Rotorua BMX Oceanias April 2023

Help me get my nearly 9yr boy (who is currently NZ3 for his age group) to the Oceanias BMX Championships in Rotorua. He is so passionate about his sport and lives, eats, breathes bmx, but as we are in the South Island this single mama left it too late to book flights & car rental and it is now going to cost $1200 just in return flights! It would break my heart not too get him there just due to financially not being able too. Help me give him the opportunity to race kids from Australia and give him chance to get a title higher than his current NZ title for 8yr boys.
