Help Hunter Jenkins, Milah Van Niekerk, Rosa Hook and Maegan Fraser to pay for their expenses to represent NZ in the Oceania Skating Champs.
Bay of Plenty
Hunter Jenkins, Milah Van Niekerk, Rosa Hook and Maegan Fraser won Gold medals for their quad group in the NZ National Artistic Roller Skating Championships on 20 July 2018. It was announced on 21 July, for the first time in their lives, that they have qualified and been selected to represent NZ to compete in the Oceania Roller Skating Championships in September.
However, they were also informed that the cost would be approximately $1500 each, if not more. That is $6000 for the four girls. It is difficult for the skaters’ families to raise sufficient funds in two months but we don’t have the heart to tell the girls “sorry, even though you have been selected for New Zealand, you cannot go because we don’t have enough money.”
We hope people from NZ will support them and help these talented young girls to be able to represent NZ and take part in the Oceania Roller Skating Championships.

The funds raised will be shared between the four skaters and help them pay for the expenses for taking part in the Oceania Artistic Roller Skating Championships.
